Post by Chalkie » Sat Nov 02, 2019 7:34 am

In my search for a mask as a replacement for rthe Respirinics Confirt Gel nasal mask, I was wondering wherher masks from on emanufacturter can be used with the machones from another...or to be mor precise wherther they willfit rthe hose of another maker.

Anyone mixing and matching out there?

Pretty much any brand mask can be used with any brand machines with the exception of the ResMed tiny gravel machine the AirMini.
Any brand, any model with any machine.

Some P/R gel masks have an extra piece that wants to stay with the hose.
It belongs to the mask.
Pull it out

The Dreamstation Go will accept either their proprietary 12mm hose or a regular 15mm hose with standard 22mm rubber cuff.

However, if you aren’t using the humidifier and the elbow that comes with it, you can’t use a Resmed Slimline 15mm hose. The outside diameter of the rubber cuff is slightly too big to fit in the cavity surrounding the outlet. The Respironics version fits fine. I assume that excluding Resmed is probably NOT coincidence....
