ASAA CPAP Assistance Program

Post by beautifuldreamer » Fri Oct 11, 2019 8:30 pm

Recently I was introduced to the American Sleep Apnea Associationat the Summit they hosted in San Francisco in September - The staff of ASAA are very kind, helpful, and friendly folk :)

They have a CPAP assistance program to help those who are in need - here is a quote from their website:
"Do you need a CPAP machine or know someone who does?
The ASAA’s CPAP Assistance Program (CAP) has provided over 7,500 CPAP equipment packages to patients in need over the last three years.
It is our mission to help as many patients as possible get the treatment that they need.
No one should go untreated due to financial hardship or other issues."

I am grateful to benefit from their program. Basically you go to their website and fill out their form/application, submit a copy of your prescription, and then you make a donation to the ASAA in the amount of $100 - they have gently used PAPs.

I was blessed with a device with less than 1500 runtime hours on it.
Machine: ResMed AirSense 11 Autoset
Mask: Bleep

They accept donations of gently used machines, too, so if you are looking to rehome a machine, you can donate it to them.
