There is no new model.

I suggest getting a resmed Autoset 10 unless your medical conditions require a more specialist machine its better than your current elite shown in your profile

You are currently showing the Elite model in your profile...Suggest you upgrade to the Autoset.

The “new model” is the Autoset for Her. It brings three new features that I know of:
- the optional “for her” mode that is a little more focused on UARS (and not appropriate for severe OSA)
- soft response option (separately selectable)
- RERA logging

The last two are reportedly showing up in recent production regular Autosets, but there is no public documentation I’m aware of for the firmware versions.

Whether you have any use for the “for her” mode or not (I don’t), it’s an easy way to be sure you get the updated firmware. I was able to stack a discount code on a sale price, and bought one for $637 new (cheaper than the regular Autoset).

I haven’t tried the soft response option. The regular response works well for me.

The “for her” mode, besides having different response thresholds, will not go over 12 for OA (though it will still go to 20 for FL and snore). However, the regular Autoset mode still works the same as before.

It came out at the same time as the elite.
It's not "newer" it's just better
