For those using Oscar, is there a place for daily notes? Otherwise, especially for new people, tracking variables that aren't actual data can be helpful when troubleshooting. I have at times kept a sleep journal at the doc's request, a food tracking journal, a limb movement theory testing journal, etc. but was not good at maintaining them for very long once they became monotonous. We're all wired different. I think my wiring must be confused because sometimes I thrive on seeing info in a conscise orderly fashion. Other times it makes my head swim. Whatever works. I'd say if it makes you feel more in control while things are new, go for it. If it becomes more burdensome than helpful, drop it. Good luck with things.
Yes, both OSCAR and SleepyHead allow notes to be associated with a given day.
Just go int the Daily Tab, then from the SideBar select the Notes tab. You can also enter a How you were feeling slider and enter your weight.
The problem with the notes is there is no way to easily see what days have notes attached, or to see notes based on any other criteria. Because notes can't be effectively retrieved they're useless.
I suggested that days with notes be marked in the summary graphs, but understandably there are greater OSCAR priorities.

You know, I thought that dates with notes are in bold font in the calendar. Did I dream this? Maybe something lost from sleepyhead 1.0.0? In general, I agree with you. There could certainly be at least a "search notes" that allows simple date bounded text searches
You can add bookmarks too, I like them much more. Add some meaningful text and you end up with a list of links to those days. Have to turn on the right panel to get to them. Meant for significant events i think, but can be useful for other things.

Spiral notebook--after several years of large books/many columns,
I switched to a small notebook in March.
Now I only enter hours, pressure, AHI, and fasting blood sugar.
More time for other, more pressing issues.
Moonlight potty runs are almost non-existent, but in the morning, I need to get hopping.

You're correct. The date in the calendar dropdown is bolded. It's not very noticeable with the font I use but it is there.
