New mask break-in time?
New mask break-in time?
Hi - I've been using the DreamWisp nasal CPAP mask for almost three months now, and while I consistently get good results (.5 - 4 AHI every night and 99-100% Mask Fit) and feel a thousand times better than before, I have never gotten used to the pressure the mask places on the bridge of my nose. I recently purchased a ResMed AirFit P30i thinking it would be a better solution since it goes under the nose. While it felt great when I was awake and I slept through the night with it, I woke up tired and my AHI for the night was 8.4 with a mask fit of 94%. Is it normal for this to happen and should I give it another night or two, or is something like this immediately apparent? If so, does anyone have any suggestions of a mask I should try that doesn't place any pressure on the bridge of your nose?

I use the Resmed P10.
I tried the P30i and could tolerate it well and used it for about a week. It got better every day, but I just prefered the P10.
As with almost everything in XPAP therapy it takes a while to adjust to any change. (for most people)
I would give it a few days. It is a very good mask for several people on here.
My second choice.

Some say the different size pillows gave them different results. Better air flow, fewer leaks and so on.
