Review Request

Post by Stutz » Sun Sep 22, 2019 5:47 pm

I have been on CPAP for about 15 years and in the last month I received a new Airsense 10 machine. The old one was a Resemed S9 auto. Over time I have slowly tweaked the settings so the low is 9 with the higher limit 14. I never seem to go past the high limits so it seem ok. For the most part the AHI on a nightly basis range from maye .5 to 2.0. I have other aids like the buckwheat pillow and the hose holder as well as a chin strap and the pada cheeks. I also have shut off the ramp since it does not bother me and I usually fall asleep withing 2 minutes. THe night is usually broken up by one or two bathroom trips. Before being diagnosed I used to fall asleep at a stop light or any meeting. Now things seem ok. Well the BP medicine has side affects as well as the chloresteral ones too. Another story there

As an aside this forum and the people on it have been a great resource and I try to get others to look at it so they can plot their own course. Most simply listen to the Dr. which I think is only part of the treatment.

At any rate would you August group look at the graphs and see if you can see any issues. I know I have a few leaks. I was using the new dreamwear pillow but went back to the Swift FX since it seemed to work better. Thanks in advance

I haven't been around all that long, but looks good to me.
Like you said leaks aren't ideal.
If you are sleeping well, feeling good and they aren't waking you up I personally would not care.
Except for the leaks I would like to have your stats.

Someone with more knowledge than me might see something for you to worry about. :D

All I got.

Only thing I see that is maybe concerning are the breaks in therapy which you say are bathroom breaks.
I would wonder why the bathroom breaks.
Are you of an age and gender where the prostate causes that problem or is it maybe something else?

Are the leaks waking you up at all? If not I don't know that I would worry all that much about them since they are for the most part short lived.
