Re: aWAKEN
You don't have to take the entire mask off....just unhook the mask from the long hose and then all you have to do is hook it back when you go back to bed.

Practice, practice, practice.
You will be surprised how quickly it becomes easy.
You have many fewer brain cells now than when you learned to tie your shoes.
We all do.

Re: aWAKEN
It's really going to depend on the mask. Some are simply easier to put on and take off than others.
The P10 I can do blindfolded....not sure I could say the same for some of the nasal or full face masks.
OP must not have read the "newbies please read" sticky....because we have no idea what mask they are using.

Re: aWAKEN
Can you please share your mask type? There typically is a quick connect between the hose and the mask. Undo that but leave the mask on. Super easy to reconnect.

Hi Misty.
Sounds like you're using a dreamwear mask.
Easy Peasy ... I pull mine off and on like a catchers mitt. It's so soft and flexible!
I also have really long hair and wear it in a top knot which works really well for stabilizing the mask. I've seen here that some people have problems with this mask slipping.
I find the dreamwear SUPER comfortable and I wash the mask with Dr. Bronner peppermint soap and I can't wait for the slight minty smell that puts me right to sleep.
How are you doing otherwise?
A lot of time when folks are new they put people on a ramp and they feel like they're suffocating. So if that's happening to you we can help you fix that.
in fact ... they experts here (of which *I* am not one) can pretty much help you fix anything!
Keep us posted.
You can just keep asking questions here in this thread. No need to start a new thread for each question.

Looking forward to your progress ~~~
