Central Apnoea which you are suffering from is consistently inconsistent, you won’t get acceptable numbers until your machine is changed to an ASV that can adequately treat your CA’s and Central Hypopnoea’s, but your in early days of that journey with your dr

Congratulations!

I've had one or two of those... while not critical or required, it's always cool when one arrives!

Congratulations buddy, I'm very happy for you.

I got a No Hitter last night too. Woooooooot. So much for Friday the 13th.

As nice as it is to get a 0.00, what's also pretty impressive about your graphs is your leak rate. Nothing, not even a blip. I expect 0 leak rates from the Bleep users, but you use the p10. NICE!

I agree completely about not chasing zeros, but celebrate when you get them. It took me about a year before my first no hitter, and now I get them fairly regularly, two maybe three a month. But, the first thing I do when I get up and turn my machine off is look at the Resmed Report Screen AHI, looking for a 0.0. And I love it when I get one.

Here's my Friday the 13th telemetry. Cripes with the exception of your perfect leak rate the charts are pretty darn similar.

yeah, i've noticed my leak rate all along was very minimal to non-existent. i get a rude shock when i see a minor leak pop up. mostly, it's from me moving across the pillow while i turn from one side to the other. so i'm always surprised when users come on here and have ugly leaks.

all my "uglies" came from full face and nasal masks.

you and i are alike in many ways, my friend!

I usually have a pretty flat leak line, but that is because even the smallest leak will bother me. If I feel it or hear a tiny hiss, I can't sleep. So, I have learned to fit my mask well, and I will stuff a kleenex in a leak or get up and start over. No 0.00 yet, but many 0.2 to 0.5.

Congrats to the 2 of you for a perfect zero.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

Don't mean to derail this topic, but I'm confused by the term Central Hypopnoea.

As I undestand:
  • Obstructive Apneas are the closing of the airway.
  • Hypopneas are partial closing of the airway.
  • Central Apneas are lack of effort to breath.
The term Central Hypopneas doesn't make sense to me.

Atta boy zonker! :D

The fact that you did this away from familiar surroundings makes it more impressive.

Right now his "spawn" is hoping that his AHI jumps to a record high, so he doesn't start getting any funny ideas about flipping his new Wooley home and moving in with them.

We're good.

I got a PM from a knowledgable member explaining that while rare, Hypopneas can be central in nature, the reduction from weak breathing effort.

After my 0.00, my AHI shot up to 0.76. Another reminder how volatile our sleeping is and confirms that we should never give one nights data to much attention.

Side note...apneas can morph...start out as one kind and change to another mid stream.
That's how come you see a section for mixed apneas on sleep study reports.
Same thing can happen to hyponeas.
