Is this screen shot OK? Any suggestions

Post by jsmit86 » Sat Sep 07, 2019 7:16 pm

Is the screen shot OK?
I think I had a period of time when I could not get back to sleep that night, but I did have the machine on.
Does that data look correct?

No, please review the requested format, you've got duplicated data on some things, and other stuff is missing
wiki/index.php/Sleepyhead:Organize

Looks like you'd do better with a min pressure of 9 and max 20, (maybe higher min, but that'd be a good start)

Change your max pressure to 20 and the min to 9 to start. You're not far from optimal therapy.

I will do that. I'm assuming I will try that for at least a few nights, and then look at the graphs and post back.
How many nights should I test that?

How are you feeling during the day?

I notice that you have a busy flow limitation graph. Maybe one of the experts could advise you about turning on EPR.

Usually I feel pretty good. I only used EPR once when I first got the machine, and I have not tried it on this unit since.
(I do use EPR on my HDM Z2 Auto Travel unit, but you can't turn it off... I use the medium setting on that machine... my sleep is also usually pretty good on that unit, but sometimes the AHI's are a bit higher than my Resmed unit. I had to use the Z2 for a couple of months while my Resmed unit was out for repair. It was finally replaced)

If there is any suggested EPR setting, I can give that a try as well.
Would it be best to check out the pressure change first, or should I do that and EPR at the same time?

Just give us a screenshot after one night.

OK... just checking... hold off on changing EPR?
Thanks!

EPR is *mainly* for comfort on cpap machines, use it if you want to.. but because EPR *DROPS* the exhale pressure, which is what's needed to hold your airway open, it's best to *increase* your minimum pressure by however much you increase EPR.

ie, if you set your EPR to 3, then increase your min pressure by 3, that way your min pressure doesn't go below where it was before you changed EPR.

I like to keep my variables to a minimum whenever possible.
So I wouldn't change the pressure and the EPR setting at the same time unless I had no choice.

Keep your changes to a minimum so you can better gauge the results.

Why so many breaks in the therapy line where the machine is turned off and then back on again?
Any idea why you woke up?
