OSCAR significantly slower than SleepHead

Post by D.H. » Sat Aug 31, 2019 7:24 am

Has anybody else noticed that OSCAR takes significantly longer to read the SD card than SleepyHead did? Is it doing anything more?

Totally opposite for me.
OSCAR is hugely faster in the download/import than either SleepyHead 1.1 or 1.0.

I agree with Pugsy.
I find it way faster than Sleepyhead.

From clicking the OSCAR icon to having the Daily screen up is probably less than 20 seconds.
SleepyHead would take sometimes several minutes to fully load. Usually hanging on the "importing data" step.

To me, Oscar seems faster at reading the card.

There's a "If (user=D.H.){'sleep 10000};" in the code... don't tell him.

Either that or it's a PEBKAC issue... not sure.
