OSCAR significantly slower than SleepHead
OSCAR significantly slower than SleepHead
Has anybody else noticed that OSCAR takes significantly longer to read the SD card than SleepyHead did? Is it doing anything more?
Re: OSCAR significantly slower than SleepHead
Totally opposite for me.
OSCAR is hugely faster in the download/import than either SleepyHead 1.1 or 1.0.

Re: OSCAR significantly slower than SleepHead
I agree with Pugsy.
I find it way faster than Sleepyhead.
From clicking the OSCAR icon to having the Daily screen up is probably less than 20 seconds.
SleepyHead would take sometimes several minutes to fully load. Usually hanging on the "importing data" step.

Re: OSCAR significantly slower than SleepHead
To me, Oscar seems faster at reading the card.

Re: OSCAR significantly slower than SleepHead
There's a "If (user=D.H.){'sleep 10000};" in the code... don't tell him.

Some computer systems slow waaaay down to "encourage" you to accept the "update".

D.H. operates in a different reality, time runs at different speeds in each!

Either that or it's a PEBKAC issue... not sure.

OSCAR is MUCH faster for me.
Still searching for the "right" mask.

Where are Mickey's hands pointing when OSCAR starts reading, and where are his hands pointing when he finishes reading?
