ResMed pillow mask - update

Post by metropical » Fri Aug 30, 2019 6:38 pm

I have an older, 5 yrs, ResMed nasal pillow headset. The Pillow part has a metal ring embedded in it that fits into the headgear. That ring, no matter how I adjust, puts pressure on the space between my upper lip and nostrils.
Has this been updated to something without metal?

I'm not familiar with that pillow mask, but there are at least 20 different models....Is there a name or a number on your mask? How do you get replacement parts without knowing the mask name?

I don't get replacement parts. I want to find a replacement for the whole set up as it's not comfortable. So I'm looking to see if there is still a metal part in the nasal pillow part.

I don't know which nasal pillow mask you are using that has the metal part in it but there are new nasal pillow masks out there.
It would help if we knew exactly which mask you are talking about since we don't remember a ResMed pillow with metal in it.

You can look through here and see if you spot it and/or look for something new. There have been some new nasal pillow masks released though.
