Update ResMed US responded to a Facebook Messenger chat and confirmed they sold and shipped the unit with my serial number. Still not sure why my unit has the French distributor on the label, but I didn’t want this post to falsely alarm anyone looking to buy from Lofta. They are legit and have amazing prices.
Original post:
My new ResMed AirMini arrived tonight. Love the tiny machine, and loved the great online price of only $699 for the whole kit on sale from Lofta, but the machine and mask kit they sent is from ResMed SAS, which is the French distributer for ResMed.
Has anyone else received an AirMini with the French distributer or other non US distributer label?
Pics are too big to attach, but the label on the device and both boxes are from ResMed SAS France
Lofta swears they only buy from ResMed US, but it sure feels strange to me.
Resolved. ResMed AirMini from France????

As far as know, the only difference between the French and U.S. machines are the plugs and the fact that the display might be in the French language.
If you have a European plug, you can use an adapter or get an American plug (the voltage will not be an issue).
If the display is in French, sometimes the language can be changed. Alternatively, you can live with it in French. Remember that you don't need complex grammar or advanced vocabulary to read it!

Contact Lofta, and give them an earful.
