Re: thoughts from anyone changing from amara view to airfit f30
I have used both masks. I used the Amara View for over a year, and the Air Fit 30 for about a month. I used a large cushion on the Amara View, and tried both cushion sizes for the Air Fit F30 and could never get a good seal. No matter what I did, I could not stop a small leak at the side of my nose that blew air into my eye. I really wanted the F30 to work for me, but ended up going back to my F20. Others have had great luck with the F30. It all depends on the size and shape of your nose and face. Other than that stupid air leak, it was a very comfortable mask.

Re: thoughts from anyone changing from amara view to airfit f30
I went through this very thing. When I first got the F30, I was All In on the Amara View, it had rescued me from my starter F20 which I hated and I loved it for that. I did not immediately take to the F30, it took about 2 or 3 months it seems like for me to adjust gradually, when used in my mask rotation. I didn't like the hose connection (quick connect) to the frame, I preferred the View because I was so used to it. But eventually, somehow the F30 won my heart.
I think I learned to appreciate the larger cushion contact area which I feel greatly minimizes leaks, I always felt like the corners of my mouth could easily fall out of the View (even tried the larger size but didn't work so well). But, in the end I made the transition completely to where when I did try the View for a night, or even 5 minutes, it was terrible. During this time I did experience significant weight loss from when I started using the View until I began to hate it, after growing fond of the F30, so that might be a factor. Roughly 40lb weight loss. I went from 265 in 2018 to 225 in 2019 and the View became very unstable for me.
Other than that, the two masks have the same basic form factor, F30 has a MUCH more confident facial contact area. Quick connect hose to frame works well. Major flaw with F30 is the headgear that stretches out and rides against the top of the ear when loosened up because the top / crown strap is too painful. Amara View head gear works much better, way more comfortable and no issues for pressure points keeping the mask sealed against the face.
