The CPAP machine takes your room air and filters it before you breathe it. The only thing for you to do is keep the filter clean.

Hey! I have some queries about CPAP Cleaner! Actually, I have an oxygen problem and my doctor suggested to use the CPAP for positive air! For last month I'm using this but in starting face it provides good air but I think there is some problem like might be it is not clean I just want to know if you are using CPAP Machine then please suggest me how can I clean my machine also if am using sope or water to clean it, Is that work??
Just use soap and water on the mask and water tank.

Do what Palerider said. I use Dawn unscented dish soap, when I clean my cushion, and I wipe my mask down with a baby wipe each morning. About twice a week, I squirt some hand cleaner on the baby wipe. When I hear people comment on "cleaning their machine", I give them that fish-look. I assume they mean the mask, hose, etc.... but sometimes, I don't know.... You can wipe down the outside of the machine, and change out the filter on a regular basis.... but that's about it for the MACHINE.

I know the cleaning instructions for your mask, hose, tank say to use a mild soap, but I don't think it has to be unscented unless you have an allergic reaction to scented soap. We buy Dawn for washing dishes & filling our hand soap dispensers & I like the orange & apple scents the best. I just use my scented Dawn. It makes my mask smell delightful.

you don't need to clean the inside of your machine at all, just wipe down the outside. Water inside would probably ruin it. Just replace the filter when it gets dirty or recommended. I get two new filters every 3 months. I replace my filter when I get new supplies.

I'd say instead "unless you don't want to smell the soap when you mask up."

I don't.

yes, I agree, if you don't want the smell of the soap on your mask, by all means, use unscented. Scented soaps are not harmful was my meaning.

That might be funny (it's not) if it weren't for the fact that you're misunderstanding the OP's broken english.

Ah, I thought he referred to one of those cleaning machines.

Unscented soap and water is my suggestion as well. Only exception is AirTouch F20, if you’re using that. That should be cleaned with alcohol-free wipes.
