yearly review

Post by roadcycler » Mon Aug 19, 2019 10:06 am

Just talking to the respiratory tech at our local brick and mortar store. When the receptionist called I told her that I had purchased an airmini myself and that the gaps in my home machine I was on holidays and took the airmini and here is the serial number and that I feel better and have lower numbers with the auto airmini instead of the set cpap (resmed elite). Well got an email saying that everything looks fine (gone from over 40 to 3-10 ahi) but he will not look at the airmini data since I did not buy it from them. PITA was hoping that when it was time to get a new machine I could upgrade. Will ask in a couple of years if I can pay the difference.

Compliance period is only 90 days.....Why is anyone concerned about gaps? Is Canada different fro US?

I believe the compliance is similar, just had a lower AHI 2 and under with the airmini which is auto compared to the variance using the set resmed elite which "averaged" 4.5 for the year but varied from 2 to 9.5
