expanding eye bags

Greetings,

What with the poor sleep I've noticed the eye bag expanded a good each under.
Anyone has a way to correct this, besides magically getting better sleep for years?

I never had bags under my eyes until I started CPAP therapy. Air from the mask could be blowing into your eyes making them puffy. Of course, I am nearly 60, so I could have developed them naturally due to age, but I believe it is the CPAP therapy doing it for me. No matter what mask I am wearing, I seem to have puffy eyes every morning. It could be due to occasional leaks, or just how the air is being exhausted.

seriously, not making a joke.

Some sinus masks are filled with gel beads, and they can be used to chill those bags.

Did you ever get your CPAP therapy optimized? In April, you were using a nasal mask and having mouth leaks. (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=175419&p=1299396#p1299396) That can destroy your sleep. Was a chinstrap effective for you? They are not for many people in your condition.

thanks for the confirmation. i have sooo many things bouncing around in my rattle trap mind, i'm having trouble sometimes distinguishing fact from fiction!

Under-eye bags can be a symptom of something other than insufficient sleep.
You need to mention it to your doctor. (Or nag, if that's what it takes)

btw, "expanding eye bags" sounds like an early sixties science fiction b movie.
