opus

Ms Piggy here, can't get my password to work again.

Do the straps on the opus sit very near to the ears, or run slightly behind them? As I have small cysts on my ears I cannot tolerate anything that touches my ears for long and consequently I cannot stay on one side all night. Is it possible to sleep on either side without having to switch the hose.
I gather that it can be worn up the front of the face.
I was unable to sleep on the hose side of the Swift.
.

thanks for any info supplied.

The Opus hose can route up on either side or, straight up the middle, attached to the headgear at the top of your head.

I DON'T attach hose at the top of the headgear. I have a small hose support attached to the headboard so that the main hose from the flow generator is supported above my head by a couple of inches, I attach the Opus hose to the flow generator hose and just leave the Opus hose hanging in space. Works great!

You could, if you wished, let the Opus hose hang down across your chest or shoulder. I'd be a bit concerned about the lateral torque placed on the nasal pillows by this arrangement but, if you used a hose clip to attach the flow generator hose to your jammies, or whatever you are wearing in the sack (I'd have to use chest hair!) you could be fine with this arrangement.

Good luck!!
