All you need to do to show your support is buy your products from them, simple! They don't need a Cake and Candles. Jim

Here's part of your answer... cpap.com 1999
https://www.cpap.com/aboutUs
CPAPTalk.com login is secure. The contractor did not extend that to the site because he was not asked to do that.
BTW, ApneaBoard does not use SSL certificates and is therefore not secure because they claim their server is secure without it. GETTING TO their server is not secure, but they apparently are not concerned about that.

I know which site's security I prefer...

Here's my guess at the earliest post still accessible. Threads 01 & 02 do not appear to exist.

If I remember right there were a few in the archives earlier than what we can see if we go back to page one of all the forum posts which show Aug of 2004 as date posted.
Some of the really old stuff got lost when they did the big forum software change early last year.
So there was some stuff dated prior to Aug 2004 but I don't remember how much prior.
I just remember looking back and seeing Johnny talk about starting the forum...his post was the very first post at one time but it's not showing that now.
Some old stuff faded off the books for some reason or other....the forum was started prior to Aug 2004...but I don't remember exact date.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

I noticed evidence of index corruption if you go to the last page of the forum. I found one of Johnny's early posts & started looking for the lowest numbered thread I could find.

And it probably matters very little.
Older, noisy machines; humidifiers were still considered a "luxury" by many providers.
Data hard to access or non-existent.
One can but cringe to recall.
