I was diagnosed as hiding OSA severe in 2006 and have been on a CPAP since but still tired after a nights sleep. I have been sleeping 5-6 hours and waking up to the mask hissing at me. I changed to a new mask and slept 9 hours! Is that typical? The old mask was arou d 6 months old. And I'm thinking of goi g to see a sleep specialist due to the daytime sleepiness. What your iPhone n mask change our and going back to the doc? I'm 75 years old so I'm no longer a spring chicken.
Thanks!

Re: Still Tired >CPAP
Hi john 6012! It’s pretty common for people to have different results with different masks, and even different results at different times from the same mask. Some masks just work better with some kinds of faces. And our faces change their contours over time, while our posture at night may change over time too.
So if you now have a mask that is working better for you, that’s great! My question for you is whether you felt better the next day after getting 9 hours. What do you think?
