Returning the CPAP Max pillow...any other suggestions?

Post by zoomzoom » Sat Jul 06, 2019 5:37 pm

I'm going to be returning the CPAP Max 2.0 pillow as I didn't find that it adequately prevented leaks and more importantly, I did not find it particularly comfortable above and beyond my current pillow (MyPillow). Any other suggestions to try? Someone recommended the Nest Easy Breather pillow since you can control the amount of loft and it has good reviews.

Not sure if I would be interested in a buckwheat feather pillow, especially if it makes noise (not sure if it does as I've never tried it), but they do seem like a bit of work.

Bed pillow preference is an individual choice.
Do not be swayed by advertising.
I found my favorite at Bed, Bath, and Beyond--sorry, name not available.
I absolutely HATED the mypillow.

No feathers. Just buckwheat hulls.
Best pillow for this APAP therapy thing I found. For me.
Like sleeping on a sack of soft concrete.
Shape it how you want it and it tends to stay.
No sinking into and pushing mask off.
To each his own.
The best ones are pricey. If this one disappeared I would buy another toot sweet. :)

Before I started CPAP I had a contoured memory foam pillow, and now about nine months into CPAP I still find it’s the best pillow I’ve tried. With the valley in the middle I can sleep on my side and not have it disturb the mask too much. I have a softer memory foam pillow designed for CPAP that I use sometimes but I don’t find it works as well.

I got my current pillow at a Sleep Number store when they had a sale, they had a few different heights. I wouldn’t recommend getting one there at normal price, they’re way over priced, but it was nice to be able to try different options.

I also have a cpapfit pillow from pur-sleep.
Used it for a while. Loved it.
Saving it for when my shoulder makes nice again.
