Nasal pillow mask

Post by keithjoo » Fri Jul 05, 2019 9:48 am

Does anyone know if I should feel air going into my nostrils?
I don't feel any air going in and my machine is working perfectly.
thanks

I don't feel any air flowing through my nasal passages from the nasal pillows. It's just a gentle pressure instead of a flow. The pressure is not noticeable.

How are you feeling during the day? Any excess sleepiness? Energetic?

Same here.

When I first put them on, I might feel a little restriction, bu not much. When I wake, after having had them on, I don't feel any air pressure, just the pressure of the nasal pillows.

The only time I feel air is when it is leaking.

There is one other time you may feel air, if you are older.
If nose hairs get too long, your nose may feel like it is itchy on the outside, but the nasal hairs are causing the issue.

We're so busy here trying to dispel the myth that Sleep Apnea is a Fat Old Guy only thing, now we have to deal with this one too?

At least I did not ASSUME that. This advice happened to help me early in my CPAP journey.
