Gurgling sound from tube

Post by RoRo77 » Thu Jul 04, 2019 10:09 pm

Hi, I'm using the sefam s.box , I've been having good night's & bad nights ,I've only been using it for a month now, some nights I sleep for 7 hours other nights its 3, tonight I wake up at 04:20 to the sound of bubbling or gurgling it was coming from the hose like there was a build up of water in it , it was making so much noise I ended up pulling , removing the hose to let it dry, have I done the right thing?

Rain out, you are exceeding the laws of nature, air will only hold so much water vapor at a temp. To stop it, warm the air in the room or turn down the hear on the HH! Also make sure the water can drain back into the HH tank. Mother Nature will be kind if you follow her rules. Jim

Besides the above suggestions, make sure you are not over filling the humidifier tub.

Turn down your level of humidity one or two notches..I leave mine set on like 1 or 2 at the most. Any higher and the mask sweats. Yes I do still have a bit of dry mouth in the morning but it's not as bad as with no humidifier, straight air. I tried that once, it sucked.
Yay :D For no more diaphragm cramps and dozing off while driving!

When this happens on my ResMed, it's usually due to the humidifier being too full.

See this thread for various options for dealing with condensation in the mask or hose.
I know nothing about your machine so I don't know which options will pertain to you or not.
