Looking for an APAP
Where can I find an APAP - ideally a ResMed AirSense 10 for Her with ResMed AirTouch F20 (memory foam) mask? Without a prescription?

Re: Looking for an APAP
Mask is easy: Order the mask in parts. Lots of sources -- Amazon, Ebay, Cpap.Com; etc. You will need the mask frame, cushion, headgear. The trick will be knowing what size you need. The assembly is a breeze -- it is the same assembly that is required after cleaning.
For the machine, you will need to find a used one. Try Craigslist. Search here -- users here (such as LSAT) sometimes have units for sale. Finally, I don't think secondwind requires a script (I am not sure though).

I do not think new users can start private messages and this forum does not have user tagging.
I messaged LSAT for you and sent a link to this thread. He should respond here or perhaps in a private message.

Re: Looking for an APAP
New account member can send and receive private messages just the minute the new account post gets approved.
If you guys can see the post....she can send and received PMS.
Once any new account first post gets approved....everything is available to the member.
It's why I try to approve as quickly as possible so no lag time for getting help...or at least keep the lag time to a minimum.

Re: Looking for an APAP
Thanks for the clarification, Pugsy.
My foggy memory said that some new users mentioned about being unable to send PMs.

They are probably referring to the initial first time post they make and are trying to also PM someone at the same time as the first unapproved (yet) post.
Once the first post gets approved they can PM people and they will get a notice to that effect.

I thought first posts did not get displayed until they were approved.
I guess I was mistaken (again)

Re: Looking for an APAP
Are PMs OK?
People here have trouble spelling and you expect them to know how to properly use capitalization too? You must be new here.

Re: Looking for an APAP
Hold on....I am going up to the barn to see if I can find a 2 x 4 that will reach to Plano...
Everyone...here's the deal with new member accounts....their first post goes into a holding tank of sorts. You can't see it but I can.
You won't ever see a new account post until someone has "approved" it. This is how we have weeded out spam or try to....came about after the Chinese/Korean spam bot attack. Until that first post gets approved they can't PM anyone....but if you guys see the post it's been approved and they can do everything you can do in terms of links, PMs or whatever.
Often new members try to PM someone prior to their first post being approved....or maybe even before they even post anything at all...that's when they find out they can't PM anyone.
Just remember if you see the post....they can PM anyone and they can received PMs also. There is no other wait time for anything.
And I am off to package some PMS up for a overnight delivery to Texas.
