Resemd Airsense 10 Autoset fully reset itself.
Hello everyone,
I've been on CPAP therapy for close to 2 months now and i've been using the Airsense 10 Autoset for this whole period of time. Today i went to sleep in another room, since the AC unit is in my bedroom and i wanted to avoid sleeping in the same room with it, while carrying the machine with me. I've left the humidifier in the bedroom, used the cover, set it up, put on the mask and went to sleep. After waking up, i unplugged the mask for the usual cleaning and brought the machine back in the bedroom. When i plugged it in, that's when i noticed that every bit of therapy info it had, it was reset to 0/null/--. No info about today's sleep session or any of the past ones, no info about usage hours (be it in the Patient or Clinical menu)... it's like the machine has been master factory reset (even the usage hours from the clinical menu, the one which i shouldn't be able to reset, have been reset). Has this happened to anyone else? What concerns me is that during this sleep session, the device recorded a very high amount of Central events (~3) which i rarely see jumping over 0.5. When i tried to import this session data, alongside other 5-6 days since the last import, into Sleepyhead, it refused to import anything. I had to download OSCAR and finally got it to work.

Re: Resemd Airsense 10 Autoset fully reset itself.
Hopefully you have an SD card in it.
Load the SD Card into S.H./OSCAR and see if the information is there.
The 0's could just be on the last session, change the the reporting period to a week or month and see if they are 0 as well.

Usage hours CAN be reset..RUN hours cannot. Have you looked at the Sleep report on your screen? What time was it when you looked for the data...if it was after Noon, the machine may have reset to the next day with all zeros.

Re: Resemd Airsense 10 Autoset fully reset itself.
Every session i had is on the SD card... so fortunately, the card has everything on it, including this last session (which i could only import into OSCAR but not SH). The device itself shows 0 (zero) on everything, including usage hours (which are not meant to be reset, from what i've read so far). I took some pictures but i can't seem to be able to upload them (probably because i'm a new user with a new account).Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 10:37 amHopefully you have an SD card in it.

That's why i'm so stunned by what's happening... there is no DME or physician access, i own the device and bought it as new. But even so, the RUN hours are 0 (zero). All the settings have been preserved (mask type, min/max pressure, climate/tube temp, etc.).

i am an idiot in such things. it could be that you are too new to upload.
having said that, do you see the attachments tab below? have you followed that link?
if yes, your pics may need to be downsized in order to post.
good luck!

Re: Resemd Airsense 10 Autoset fully reset itself.
It seems the size of the pictures was too big, downsizing them did the trick! So here's what my machine displays.. i have close to 2 months of therapy, 400 hours of usage and never, ever even entered the "Reset data" menu... as i said, i just woke up, moved the machine back and this is what it started displaying. Should i be concerned? Should i contact my DME, ask him to look at this?zonker wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 11:37 amexhale wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 11:34 amEvery session i had is on the SD card... so fortunately, the card has everything on it, including this last session (which i could only import into OSCAR but not SH). Re: Resemd Airsense 10 Autoset fully reset itself.
Go back to the DME...bet they will have no answer for you....to me it looks like a brand new machine.

Re: Resemd Airsense 10 Autoset fully reset itself.
I have a question... I have a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset, that is currently out for repair.
In looking at the PIX above, I am seeing detailed sleep data with LEAK, AHI. Central etc....
I have never seen that display on my unit, and as far as I know I had detailed or extended info set in the menu.
Can anyone reply with how to get to that screen, including any necessary options in the menu as a pre-requisite?
I'd like to see of I can get that once my machine returns.

Check to make sure your therapy settings are as expected.
Tomorrow morning, make a not of your results, download your data. Wait an hour or so if you use MyAir or need data sent for compliancy purposes. The deliberately unplug, leave it unplugged for a few minutes, then plug it back in again and see if it's reset itself again.
If it has, then definitely have it replaced.
If it hasn't, keep your eye on it, then in a few years, if it does it again sell it as a new machine.

Have you ever looked at your Sleep Report Screen? It's right below OPTIONS on your opening screen. If some things are missing, go into your SETTINGS menu...find ESSENTIALS and change the setting to PLUSjsmit86 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 6:30 pmI have a question... Re: Resemd Airsense 10 Autoset fully reset itself.
If only these were sought after, back here.. Yeah, i think the machine had a brain fart, after tonight's sleep session (of 6 hours), it showed, in the morning, 9h30min of usage with a 0.1 AHI... but before, after yesterday's afternoon sleep, it showed 2+ AHI (mainly Clear Airways)... just reset it and gonna give it another chance during this weekend, maybe it decides it loves me after all. If not, back to the DME it goes!Dog Slobber wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 8:25 pmWow.exhale wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 11:47 am
