Changing masks - Dreamwear to P10

Using Airsense 10. Just received my new P10 mask, it will not fit on hose used for Dreamwear mask. Do I need a new hose for P10 or am I doing something incorrectly?

No need for a new hose.

Sounds like a little part of the DreamWear mask elbow came off and is stuck in the end of the long hose and getting in the way of the P10 hose from sliding it. Common problem it seems like.
Look in the end of the long hose and see if you see a little piece of plastic that has a rim and is white crammed in there. It shouldn't be there. It came off the mask elbow and got stuck in the hose and is probably going to be a bit difficult to remove.
If you don't see anything...post an photo of that end of the long hose.

This part circled in red is the most common part that comes off and gets stuck in the long hose and with it in there no other mask will fit except the DreamWear.

As Pugsy points out, the hard plastic piece left in the hose is part of your dreamwear mask. the hose itself has a soft rubbery end, anything besides that on the end of the hose is part of your previous mask.

There was the extra piece from other mask. A little tough to get out, but all is well now. THANKS!!
