Good Morning,
I hope someone can help me. I have had my System One 560p since 2013, I have used it since the beginning with no problems.
I was recently diagnosed with cancer and am having surgery in July. I decided to buy a 2nd used machine(same model) as a back up and reset the new machine to match the old one ( by going into setup and holding down the ramp and on & off at the same time). I continued to use my original no problem, this morning for the first time when I awoke I realized my machine wasn’t on. My machine is set to turn on automatically after I place my mask on,most times I turn it on myself. Obviously last night I didn’t, I’ve started taking a sleeping pill because my nerves are shot, and I guess I fell asleep not realizing that it wasn’t on. I tried it this morning and it is not going on automatically. I changed to the other machines power supply, then changed to a new hose, then new mask. I then tried my new machine and the auto on didn’t work on that also. I’m thinking that by accident I changed something on my original but don’t know what.

Re: System one 560p Auto on not workin
Some masks don't work as well with auto on, I found that especially true when I had an S1.
What kind of mask are you using? For a FF mask, I always had to cover the anti-asphyxiation valve with a finger and then take a deep breath to get it to start.

Re: System one 560p Auto on not workin
I am using a resmed F10 full face mask. I will try your suggestion tonight. To make sure that there are no problems when
I take it to the hospital, I am planning on taping a note to it to alert the staff that the auto on doesn’t always work and to manually turn it on. I don’t want any problems in the recovery room.
Thank you for your help.

They probably wouldn't expect the machine to auto start, as far as I know, the hospital ones don't.Crazygamer53 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 1:37 pmI am using a resmed F10 full face mask. I will try your suggestion tonight. To make sure that there are no problems when

I second the suggestion about blocking the as port, the auto start on respironics machines isn't very sensitive at all, I usually felt like I was trying to suck start a tractor every time I'd use it on the two machines I had in the past.
