Hi - I've been having trouble with excess moisture. This is without using the humidifier. I find that I end up wiping my face when I take off the mask. It feels very moist when it's on. Not sure of the cause? (Allergies? )
My Dr suggested trying a liner. Not sure which to try.
Anyone else having this problem? What did you do?
Thanks.
Using whisp mask with headgear.

as cpapian has stated, pada-a-cheek. find them at https://www.padacheek.com/ of course.
mask liners are made specifically for masks. so go there and look for your whisp mask.
also, some of us are cheap and will make a mask liner out of whatever nice soft cloth you may have at home, like an old t-shirt.
good luck!

Re: Moisture problem
So, how would you make one? I'm not sure how they're supposed to work. Seems like you'd have to cover the whole interior of the mask to capture the moisture before it made it to your face ... If it's just around the edges of the mask, how would it keep your face from getting wet?

Re: Moisture problem
It's the moisture in your own exhaled breath that is condensing in the mask. The cooler air in the bedroom is causing the air in the mask to cool down and release the moisture. Warm air will hold on to more moisture than cooler air.
You need to warm up the air in the mask....heated hose....cover the hose with some sort of hose cozy in an effort to reduce the air cooling to the point of condensation (old socks with toes cut out and slipped over the hose)....warm up the air in the bedroom.
Mask liners will absorb some of the moisture so it is less annoying but it's still going to happen.
Best thing is to prevent it from happening in the first place.

Re: Moisture problem
Thanks! That is so helpful. I didn't know what was causing it and kept fiddling with settings. I do have heated tubing. I'll try adjusting that up.Pugsy wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 9:17 pmIt's the moisture in your own exhaled breath that is condensing in the mask. Re: Moisture problem
Turned tube heat to highest level last night, but still had a wet face this morning. I ordered a cloth from pad-a-check. Hope that does it.
