What version of Sleepyhead for Airsense 10 APAP?

Post by Arizona-Willie » Thu Jun 13, 2019 9:46 am

Do I need a different version of Sleepyhead? I'm on version 1.00-beta 2

I downloaded the MyAir app to my smartphone but haven't tried to use it yet.

Any tricks to using it?

How do I get my data to my computer? I've kept daily records from my pulse oximeter and my S9 and I want to continue.

Your version of SleepyHead that you already have will work with the AirSense 10 machines.
You can even use the same profile as you were using with the S9.

You need a SD card for data transfer. If your new machine didn't come with a SD card in the slot then you need to go buy one.
Generic cheap from WalMart will work fine. Only need 2 GB size but those smaller SD cards are getting hard to find.
I am using an 8 GB Sandisk SD card that I got from WalMart in my AirSense machine.

I have no idea how to use MyAir and don't really care to learn. What it shows is already available on the machine's LCD screen if I wanted to look.

SleepyHead v1.00 works well with AirSense 10 models.

However it's unsupported and abandoned. You may want to consider going with it's replace OSCAR.

https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

MyAir isn't a good diagnostic tool, more or a motivational tool.

To get the data onto your computer for use in S.H./OSCAR:
  • Ensure your AirSense has an SD Card in it
  • Any SD Card will work
  • Install OSCAR from the above listed download site
  • Insert SD Card into your computer and from within OSCAR click the CPAP Importer
  • Remember to put SD Card back in your computer
BTW if your current S9 has an SD Card in it, you can import its data. However:
  • Follow the same instructions as above
  • Always set the write protect on the SD Card before placing in computer. Windows 10 and Mac write typically write temporary data to the card which upsets the S9. It will reformat your card
  • Remember to unset the write protect prior on the SD Card prior to placing back in device
  • Ensure you download all S9 data, before using that card in your A.S.10. I would suggest a new SD Card to preserve data
I have no experience with O2 data.
