Netflix Wine Country featuring DreamStation

Post by biztraveler » Wed May 29, 2019 2:54 pm

I watched Wine Country earlier this week. Amy Poehler's character has a CPAP machine in the movie, a DreamStation and a full face mask. Did some Googling - apparently it was her own CPAP that she brought with her.

Yeah, I don't know about your listeners, but anybody who's out there who has a snoring problem or sleep apnea, I'm telling you ... I would love to get you into a CPAP today, is what I'm trying to say. It has completely changed my life. Truly.

I've always been a terrible sleeper. I performed most of my career incredibly sleep-deprived. And when I — really, it's the best thing I've ever done for my health. So yeah, much like my friend Bradley Cooper, who used his real dog in A Star Is Born, I used my real CPAP machine in this movie.

I hope I win a CPAP award. If I don't, I will be so mad.

I couldn't make it through that movie. I tried twice.

But it is nice to see CPAP's used in the movies and on TV.

I saw a glass of water, couldn't tell if it was lemon or sparkeling. Jim

Based on these strong recommendations  I just watched Wine Country. Definitely a "chick flick" and had some very funny moments, especially toward the end.

And yes, Dreamstation & mask was "featured" each night of their 3-day weekend. She had no issues with it, put it on and went right to sleep. Kinda cool how they wrote that into the script, as the link to the first post here says it's her own equipment that she brought to the set.
