This is an old unit and wanted to see what you folks recommend for an upgrade. This is an older CPAP machine. I can only sleep with it 4-5 hours a night. Leaves marks on the bridge of my nose. Need help.

Well, your CPAP machine has NOTHING to do w/the mask making marks on your nose or face. And, unfortunately, mask fit is such an individual thing none of us can tell which mask WON'T cause you problems.
You can go to cpap.com and click on the links to their Masks section. Scroll down the page and you'll find a link to their Mask Fitting Guide, it is available in text and in video. Have someone help you get the measurements required, then submit them to cpap.com for some reccomendations of masks that MIGHT best fit your needs. At least that will help narrow the field of mask choices. The Respironics website also has a mask fitting guide for THEIR masks and that might help narrow the field as well. I don't know if Resmed, F&P and Puritan Bennet, etc. have any mask fitting advice at their websites might it wouldn't hurt to check.
Meanwhile, I've seen it suggested here that you use moleskin to help reduce the discomfort at the bridge of the nose. (Like in Dr Scholl's moleskin for the feet).
As to a new CPAP machine: how long have you had this one? How long since your last sleep study or sleep titration? How long since you last saw your sleep lab doctor? Do you still have a copy of your prescription for your first CPAP? Was this current CPAP purchased via insurance or self pay? Do you have insurance that provides DME coverage? Do you know your co-pay for xPAP equipment and your annual deductible? These questions will all help those in this forum help you decide on your best course of action, which equipment, etc.
Meanwhile, also check out the various xPAP machines available at cpap.com so you have an idea of the various features of each machine and what features appeal most to you.
I will say, the general consenus is, an AutoPAP, regardless the brand, is the most popular choice amongst most of those in this forum. The majority of xPAP users here have one of the Respironics. But the Resmed is another EXCELLENT and well-liked brand, aside from Resmed's recent policy change regarding online pricing and availability of software and reader, for some of us in this forum. Altho definitely in the minority, those who have a Puritan Bennet are REALLY happy w/their machines.
