There is a big difference in airflow between the small and medium cushion. I know you said the medium is too big. But is there a chance you could at least try to use it one night? Like the P10, if you tighten this mask too tight it does not seal as well. The air pressure forms the seal, not the tension, and too tight compresses the outer nostril shape and it cannot seat properly.
Thanks good idea. I will look at the medium again. What I remember is it went completely outside my nostrils. I have the mask pretty loose but i will see if I can loosen it more for a better seal.

You are happy with the bleep so no real need to try to make the P30i work for you.
Yeah...I know but I am a sucker for challenges. :lol: :lol:
Besides...someone might come along with my same issues and maybe I will stumble on a suitable solution for someone who maybe isn't as lucky to find their "bleep near perfect mask" and wants really badly to make this P30i work for them.

When I try things it isn't because I myself might be looking to switch or want to switch. It's because I am just wanting to learn.
Now sometimes what I learn isn't what I meant to learn but I learn nonetheless. :lol:
Like the one time I tried the mask of last resort just to see what it was like...you know that total face thing....I learned I needed to bow down in awe and respect for the people that made that mask work for them. I couldn't get the darn thing to seal even 5 seconds much less sleep with it....and I had a small size to work worth. Horrid little mask. :lol:

When I have some time and spare energy to devote to the P30i then I will get it out and see what I can do with it. It's in a little baggy on my kitchen counter to remind me. I just haven't felt up to dealing with it right now.
My mom is worse, I had to put one of my dogs down last week, I am sleeping like crap myself...just life's stressors messing with me right now. Screwing around with a new mask is last on my to do list at the moment but it will move up the list later.
I know this because I know myself...I am a sucker for challenges. :D

Sorry to hear about your mother and the need to put down one of your pets. From past posts, I know your sleep patterns are very fragile for other reasons and the added stress is certainly not helping you. Our prayers are with you.

Thanks.

All this has made me a rather grumpy old bitch lately....which probably doesn't come as much of a surprise if you read some of the rather fiery comments I have made lately. Extremely short on patience.

Hey...no one's perfect. I have my good days and bad days just like everyone else. It's just here lately the bad days far outweigh the good days. Sigh....

Have been a long time p10 user. Liked the idea of the top connection idea on the n30i. But the cushion just didn’t work. Leaks all over the place. So I switched to the P30i pillows. I get a little less leakage with the p10 but to more I wear the P30i the less leaks I have. I really like not having move move the hose manually every time I turn over.

Well ..... you were right. There is a ton of air in the medium .... and lying down it fits ...... less leaks ...... so thank you for the suggestion! :D

@realshelby

I've been using the p30i as well. Really loved it at first, but then the back strap started slipping off all the time, and now that I've replaced it with a new mask, I realize that the stretchy silicone piece has also loosened enough to slip around. I'll try the small size next, but did you also notice that the stretchy silicon loosens over time? The strap also loosens, and becomes slippery on your hair.

Wrapping it with an ace bandage does work for the slippage, but it is a real pain in the ass so I hope I don't have to do it that often....
