I am trying the Bleep Mask but the witch hazel pads they are selling is not cost-effective. Is there a cheaper generic solution?
I am a little confused as to what witch hazel is. I had never heard of it before.
Apparently it is an astringent and also used for hemorrhoid and vaginal cleanliness purposes.
I found this 100 pack at Walgreens: https://www.walgreens.com/store/c/walgr ... 74-product generic store brand, however, I am unsure whether that is the appropriate one to clean your face with.
Now this one is listed specifically for the face, and it is a non-generic brand, so maybe I will go with that one: https://www.walgreens.com/store/c/t.n.- ... 73-product
EDIT: Would a generic baby wipe work to clean the face? The same one we use to clean our masks with?
Anyone aware of any generic cost-effective witch hazel pads for facial cleaning?

You could buy a bottle of witch hazel and some cotton wool pads.

Rubbing Alcohol works fine if your face doesn’t dry out. And then there’s a big bottle of witch hazel you can buy through Walmart: https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead ... weEALw_wcB

The astringent preparation is derived from a small shrub/tree that grew wild back in the Appalachian region when I was a child many many years ago. If I remember correctly people would peel the bark from "switches" of the plant and boil it to extract the content. Back in those days, the extract was used for a variety of folk-medicine treatments.

I have seen bottles of witch hazel at Dollar tree.
Cotton balls are pretty cheap, too.
I buy alcohol swabs at Costco---400 for just under $4.
