Sleep Apnea and Glaucoma

Post by D.H. » Mon Apr 22, 2019 9:23 pm

This article says that the two are linked. What's not clear form the article (and perhaps not really known) is whether treating Sleep Apnea reduces the risk (or to what extent).

Are you not yet aware that this is exceedingly old news, really basic stuff... :D find something new and esoteric.

My wife loves that on salad, and she also has sleep apnea .... the cpap has not changed her love for it.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

DH’s post is less worthy of the waste basket than all the wasted posts in the comic thread about JNK.

Although the article is sixteen months old, there really hasn't been much Glaucoma talk on this site, at least not recently.

There's nothing to talk about - we all know it's one more risk factor with untreated apnea, just like the others most people know about before ever being tested.

D.H. Thanks for passing on information. Please do not be discouraged by the negative responses. I do not understand their objections to freedom of expression.

Good point. More proof that I am evil. Thank you for your support. :P

Health problems of older people tend to be associated with other health problems of older people.

Statistical association is what "proves" that aspirin causes headaches and other such wonderful assumptions of "scientific" hypotheses.

Personally, I appreciate D.H.'s post/thread.
