Lack of air while side sleeping with the AirFit N30i

Post by tyleraz » Wed Apr 17, 2019 9:09 am

I bought the N30i a while back and would love to use it, it's super comfortable, however when I sleep on my side which puts pressure on one of the side air tubes, there's a noticeable lack of air coming through the nasal air which will wake me up.

Does anyone else have this problem? I'm hoping mine is just defective and it wasn't designed this way.

I have been using this mask for several months & mostly sleep on my side. I haven't noticed any air flow restrictions.

If you turn it on without it being on your face (so you can hear a lot of air) and put pressure on one of the air side tubes, do you notice any difference in sound or air coming in?

I'm not sure what that would prove; they aren't used that way, the machine is trying to compensate for the leak by increasing air flow? When on my face at 12 cmH20 & laying on my side there is no difference in air flow then when laying on my back.
