iVAPS is a specialised bipap/bilevel machine. It was to clarify your "The Resmed ST-A iVAPS isn't a "bipap", it's a specialized machine for people with lung conditions, and doesn't work well for people with ordinary central sleep apnea."

Stay in S mode for now. I didn't like the first ivaps, median 10 breaths per minute and spiky flow rate. It will need to be set up properly.zimm4er wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:56 pmI did not realize, my machine was listed as wrong. I had a Resmed Vpap-STA. It is not even in the list. I do not have my last sleep study. I do not think it would be very valuable, because a large portion of the night I did not sleep. I do have the manual for my machine. I ordeded the neck collar.

Try disconnecting the add on humidifier, it may be throwing the machine readings out or/and the collar my help.
also do the mask fit function, as there are leaks. you wriggle the mask while testing it to see how well it seals and how hard it is to break the seal. You also don't want it over tight.
I would also post on apneaboard, there are some good people there.
