Pilairo Q Noise

Post by The Car Doctor » Tue Mar 26, 2019 8:40 am

I'm not only a newbie here but I've only been using a cpap for a little over a year. I started with a full face mask and fought leaks because of facial hair. I switched to the Airfit P10 and the nasal pillow made a world of difference in regards to leaks and comfort, but, I'm an active sleeper and the straps of the P10 would move and my wife and I wake up when it starts leaking. Last week I bought the Pilairo Q and it stays on MUCH better and I really like how it feels. However, sometimes there is a whooshing noise that bothers me. It sounds like its coming from the swivel or the diffuser area and it only makes the noise when I inhale. If I move the swivel or the hose to a different angle, sometimes I can get it to go away and it gets really quiet, but there is no rhyme or reason to it. The randomness of it makes me think that its turbulence in the tube from air flowing into the mask.

Has anyone who has used this nasal pillow experienced similar problems?
