SleepyHead data needs interpreting

Post by RSchaefer1 » Mon Mar 25, 2019 5:19 pm

Hi,
Have used CPAP for a dozen years. Last fall got a new ResMed AirSense10 w/ humidifier. First time with data card that I could review. Loaded Sleepyhead app and have downloaded ~5 months of data. Sleep Consultant physician not returning my calls. Have gone into 'Clinician Mode' and set mid-range values for everything. Would like to hear any feedback or comments on my screenshots that are attached.
My sleep time is usually too short, 3-5 hours per night, working on getting to bed earlier and waking later. My general health is pre-diabetic with obese BMI. Have never felt any better, or worse, during all my CPAP use history. Just stops me from snoring with my spouse getting most of the benefit.

If you have any advice after perusing my screenshots, please feel free to reply.

Thanks in advance,

Richard

PS: trying to add additional screenshots with 'Pressure' graph for these three days....

PPS: Adding two more nights of data since increasing Min Pressure to 8.0

Hey Richard,

Welcome to the Forum. Thanks for posting your sleepyhead graphs.

I'm no expert - the experts will be along in a while, but I know they will ask to see the pressure graph from your machine. Can you do another screenshot that shows the pressure? THe graph to drop is the mask pressure.

Thanks!

Kate

"
Two things, please change your equipment listing to 'Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset" to avoid confusion in the future when asking for advice.

Also, I'd suggest raising your minimum pressure to 8 (for starters) and lets see if we can even things out a little. The numbers look good, but that's not everything.

You can post data as soon as you like - if you made the pressure change Palerider suggested, then you will have new data tomorrow morning. :)

Well, let's see if it's any better looking (and feeling) after one night... I'm thinking you'll need more pressure., but you have to start somewhere.

Now, if we were a doctors office, I'm sure 'come back in six months" would be appropriate :D
