I have a dataless 'brick' ResMed Escape CPAP from 2007 that still works -- great hose dryer.
I bought a ResMed S8 APAP in late 2009 that still works. I bought an S9 APAP and ResMed replaced it under warranty as it developed a mold problem

. Then, I bought a hideously pink S9 APAP on sale. Took these three into sleep doc appt last week (haven't seen him since 2012) and all are producing right pressure. Asked if there was any advantage to upgrading given my annual AHI has been 0.1 for years, doc said "no reason" and if I needed a new machine or wasn't self-pay, we have to do the while shenanigans of why I need OSA treatment. I'm good with staying with my S8 and S9s

ResMed S9 range 9.8-17, RespCare Hybrid FFM
Never, never, never, never say never.
