Mirage FX mask leaks

I'm using a Resmed Mirage FX mask with S9 Autoset. I can hear and feel leaks that seem to be coming from where the elbow connects to the cushion. I've made sure the straps are tight so there are no leaks between cushion and my face. All the parts are newish, the hose, cushion, elbow, headgear. Also tried removing and re-connecting elbow to hose and to cushion, and ensuring a secure connection.

Any suggestions? Wondering if this is a known issue, and if so, if there's one part that's the likely culprit.

Are you sure that it's not the exhaust holes that are venting the CO2 ?

I think so; but not positive. The leaks sound louder to me than the exhaust...plus I'm getting large leaks in SleepyHead reports.

If venting the C02, would that only be during exhale? I'll try feeling with my fingers where the air is flowing, or lmk if there are other suggestions for troubleshooting this, thanks.
