New ASV: Dreamstation or Aircurve 10?
Re: New ASV: Dreamstation or Aircurve 10?
If you like the philips better, that's the one you should have. They are different in how the algorithms work. I would ask to be titrated on it, so it is set up properly for you. You may be able to do a side by side comparison to decide.

Re: New ASV: Dreamstation or Aircurve 10?
There is at least one time a ResMed ASV is nit helpful:
If you’ve a hernia.
I used a Series 50 Respironic unit for years... has about 10,000 hours in it.
The CPAP supplier only works with ResMed, and told me I’d notice it was a better unit.
Well, it turns out that it’s algorithm is so hash compared to the Respironics unit, and it would cause me pretty serious pain.
Of course I respond well to both vendor’s equipment, and I find the Respironics algorithm to be much less harsh... especially since I don't end up with abdominal pain.
I also like that with my Series 60 system I can put the water chambers in the dishwasher... but I suspect all new units dont support that.
