Difficulty taking screenshot

Post by mets123 » Sun Mar 03, 2019 4:36 pm

When I take a screenshot using sleepyhead version 1.1.0 by using f12 I don't see the screenshot showing up in my file it says under screenshots folder is empty. I have no problem seeing the shot when using version 1.0.0 ?
Thanks

I don't even know if F12 is working for taking a screenshot in version 1.1xxx....
It was far from polished when Mark decided to abandon it.
Lots of features in 1.1xxxx aren't working well. I have missing graph names and all sorts of bugs.
Use 1.0xxx if you want to use F12 or use some other screen shot taking option.

Make sure that your computer (especially if it's a notebook) isn't using that button for something else, and to get a true 'f12' you don't have to hold down function or something.

I can confirm that sleepyhead 1.1.0 *DOES* take a screenshot (and flash up a notification of where it's saving it) when hitting a true F12. (or using the view/take screenshot menu option.)

Thanks nightsleeper, tried what you recommended and still shows empty file where no screenshots are stored. Tried taking pictures with f12 and with view/take screenshot and still nothing.

Do you get any notifications on Windows 10? On my laptop I get a notification and it shows the location where it is being saved.

I use Windows 10....
I use the Windows Snipping Tool to do my screen shots.
Crop, get screen shot, save....all super easy.
