Some of the on/off events are certainly correlated to pressure and/or apnea events, like the two from last night. I included zoomed up pictures if you want to see from last night.
But these aren't really the ones I am talking about. Im more concerned about waking up when nothing happened. Take a look at Thursday and especially Saturday. I didn't post zoomed in shots of these because when you zoom in on these wake-ups there's nothing there. You can see theres no pressure change, no events, no leak etc...
I wonder if its because I sleep on my side and my arm and shoulder get sore after a certain amount of time, about an hour and a half, and my brain says "hey wake up that hurts" Has anyone else experienced this??
But then again I don't know why this started all of a sudden in the past 5 days and not the previous month

Last night was a disaster. I would kill for a little consistency.
Should I try adjusting the pressure up? It looks like last night it was set at 9 but capped out and maybe caused me to wake up?

xPAP is not a magic silver bullet for all the things that can disorder sleep!
It only treats SDB (Sleep Disordered Breathing). You might want to have good think about what else is going on that might be disordering your sleep

I think you should increase your maximum pressure (like all the way to 20). If you don't need the pressure high, it will not go high. But if you do, the machine will be able to deal with the events that are waking you, leaving you to deal with the other things disturbing your sleep.

Hi cook675,
I'm fairly new to all this as well....I have a question for you though...
Is the Resmed unit you are using your own, or a hire unit?
The reason I ask is because I have a hire unit which also has the "for her" setting.
I personally have had a better success rate using the "for her" setting for myself, so I have been sticking with that....seems to respond differently, less aggressive...
Something to think about....dunno if you can hire a "for her" unit for a comparison??
edit: I use it in Autoset 7-16
