Can you breath through your nose with this mask? I read the description and watched the video at cpap.com and am not sure. I have always used a n20 nasal mask and had very few leaks. I had a small stroke and my mouth will not stay closed like it used to causing me to wake with extreme dry mouth 45- times a night.

Re: ResMed AirFit™ F30 Full Face CPAP Mask?
Even though I use a full face mask, I breathe through my nose when I sleep. I use a soft cervical collar when sleeping which helps me keep my mouth closed. It is not enough to stop air from escaping if I use a nasal pillow or nasal mask. I tried the F30 and really liked how it felt on my face. I had one small leak that bothered me and kept me awake so I sent the mask back. I breathed through my nose when I was using the F30 mask.

Re: ResMed AirFit™ F30 Full Face CPAP Mask?
I only breathe through my nose and have really liked using the F30. I have my mouth taped and a chin strap (otherwise my chin can fall out of the mask when my jaw relaxes during sleep). It's quiet, it seals pretty well for me (of course, better with a liner-so far homemade but Pad a Cheek is working on one!). It'd be easy to breathe through my mouth, but it dries out so badly even with the AirSense humidifier and an additional room one.

With this mask, for whatever reason, I excessively mouth breathe and I wake up to my mouth being a desert.

Re: ResMed AirFit™ F30 Full Face CPAP Mask?
Probably because the nose piece bends , moves , or becomes obstructed in some fashion. I have this mask and find myself having to adjust it slightly during the night to get air flow into the mask. I have mixed feelings about this mask.raisedfist wrote: ↑Tue Jan 29, 2019 8:19 amWith this mask, for whatever reason, I excessively mouth breathe and I wake up to my mouth being a desert.
