Baby Wipes

Post by jwoceanside » Thu Jan 24, 2019 6:24 am

Hi

Friend gave me a gift of: thick and gentle baby wipes. Alcohol free. Paraben free

However, my friend didn't include CPAP cleaning instructions. No longer a friend (only kidding)

Thus, came to cpaptalk.com for your usual great advise, including being safe on your mask, machine and tubes

I have several silicone "skirts" for my Hybrid. They have gone yellow and hazy in my closet.

I remember a post on how to reclaim them for use. Was it vinegar? Baby shampoo? I'd sure like to give them a second life. Those suckers are expensive! Thanks!

Baking soda--boil if there is no hard plastic/just soak in hot solution if there is.
About a quarter cup to a gallon of soft or distilled water.

Thanks!

5 minutes is long enough for a (gentle) boil.
Rinse well after.
Don't let the silicone touch the bottom of the pan while on the burner.

I've poured boiling water on some spare p10 pillows, but haven't quite gotten to the point of boiling them... yet, but it's on the 'to do' list, just to see what happens.

I have thought of stuffing a set into a SodaStream bottle; (they FIT)
just to test the effect of carbonation on the dirt.
BTW, CO2 is what some drycleaners are now using.
The traditional stuff is very TOXIC.
