I find it quite curious that SoClean would expand their product line in this direction.

+1 - But, I'm sure some people will think the SoClean wipes are much better because they are much more expensive.

Maybe the SoClean people realize they aren't making money on their $300. machine

They can't sucker me into the machine and steal my money that way so they try to sneak in the back door and steal it another way.

I find it curious that our sponsors, experienced CPAP users decided to sell this.

If the machine is all you need for disinfecting, why would anyone need the wipes. Seems redundant. Money, Money, Money for nuthin'

Wally world generic unscented baby wipes are just fine.
I trust walmart about a mile farther than noclean.
Do the math . . .

I'm working on bringing to market a $3,000.00 machine that you can buy to disinfect and deodorize your SoClean machine.

A company famous for preying on peoples fears and ignorance to rip them off, proposing you spend another 90 bucks a year?

what's confusing about that? I mean, their instruction manuals for their worthless machine say you gotta clean your stuff first.

I'm just sad that "our sponsor" is selling the crap.

So Clean understands that people willing to spend $300 for a machine that cleans nothing, are just the right market for extremely overpriced butt wipes. Maybe their R & D are working to finally kill and remove a germ, they will leave no dollar spared, yours not their's. Scare Ad's are costly! Jim

I don't. The luxury-priced items deserve a place on the same shelf with the generics.

I realize that my opinions often deviate from what is standard (understatement of the month?), but as much as I hate the misleading SoClean machine commercials, I don't mind the sellers/resellers selling the machine. And I wouldn't even mind if our sponsors sold the machine, for that matter. After all, if people want one (bless their little hearts), they ought to be able to get one from a reputable, service-oriented business.

My position is that if people were suddenly to limit their purchases to things that were actually useful and needed and economical, the entire world economy would collapse.

Ring around the collar didn't exist until an ad said that it did. (And it would probably make a lot more sense in general if people just washed their necks a little better instead.) Same with most all so-called "cleaning" products. When you want to sell a product or widget for "cleaning," the first step is to hire an agency to overstate the case for it, in order to create a market for the product.

It's just that the SoClean company, in my opinion, far and away oversteps the line of propriety into morally/ethically/legally shaky areas in how they are going about it with what is stated in their ads, especially since CPAP is a medical device that saves lives but that is fighting an uphill battle because unknowing people are looking for excuses to avoid using it.
