Pressure issues

Post by suse » Tue Jan 08, 2019 5:14 pm

I now have a new Cpap machine (DreamStation) that gives me my AHI. The pressure was at 9 when I started and was changed to 10. No improvement. Was set to 12. AHI went down but my eyes were so dry and itchy that I thought I had encountered a cat (allergy). Headaches went along with the itchy and sore eyes. Pressure back to 10. Eyes good. No headaches. AHI 11.7

There's nothing to comment on.

Read the "newbies, READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" sticky in the announcements.

Air leaking into your eyes is a mask fit issue..not usually the fault of the pressure. You may need the higher pressure to get the AHI down. AHI of 11 means that you stopped breathing 70-80 times during the night./

when you get a moment, please read and follow the advice there. it boils down to: the more informatiom you can post, the better folks here will be able to help you. we are each different in our therapy so in order to advise, they will need more to go on. thanks!

and good luck to you!
people say i'm self absorbed.

Any reason you're on plain Cpap vs Auto?
