TROUBLESHOOTING respironics system one

Post by Cougguy » Sat Dec 22, 2018 10:46 am

My unit began to malfunction a few weeks ago after running perfectly for the last 5+ years. It starts up fine but (randomly) beers and shutdowns. It then beeps again and restarts. Last night, it began to beep repeatedly until I unplugged the unit. I originally thought the problem was the SD card might be full so I replaced it. Seemed to work for a couple of weeks but then started happening again. I took the original Sd card (that came with the unit) and cleared the memory - did not fix the problem.

The obvious thing to do is to take it in for repair. However, I recently changed jobs and my insurance doesn’t kick in until January 1st so I’m hoping to fix myself (or delay having to take it in).

Any suggestions?

until someone more knowledgeable comes along, you might want to contact these guys. maybe they can give you some ideas?

i've not dealt with them but they seem to be well thought of here on the forum.

good luck!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
