Does Methotrexate affect Sleep Apnea?

Im a bit of a worrier, but could Ya'll humor me and tell me if any of you take Methotrexate and if its made your sleep apnea worse at all? Doctor prescribed it for Psoratic Arthritis.

I can't imagine by what mechanism methotrexate would affect obstructive sleep apnea. Maybe if you had a reaction and the airway tissues swelled? But, side effects are rare, and swelling of tissues is not even listed.

Since you are a worrier, make sure to check your AHI on the machine display as soon as you arise. If anything, you might see fewer SWJ events from being able to sleep with less movement and fewer arousals.

I can't find anything where it might actually impact sleep or the airway tissues.
Now I did find that fatigue or drowsiness might be a side effect (which seems to be common for a large number of medications) so if that should seem to pop up...don't assume it is sleep apnea related.
There's a lot of stuff out there that can mimic some of the sleep apnea symptoms.

I do know that it will effect your platelets and lower them, and then it is hard to get them back up. do blood work, and keep track of it. after 7 years i still am fighting this.
