Hi all,
Looking for some help please, played with pressure and humidity min and max settings, not finding anything working.
I fall asleep OK but 2-3 hours later I end up pulling off my resmed P10 pillow, needing to give my nose a break, I then fall asleep without mask? My nose feels crap whole day
Any advice to help will be appreciated.

Inside of the nose or outside of the nose feeling crappy?
Any nasal congestion type of symptoms or just the nostrils being main area of problem?
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

If you are using the P10 pillows, you have the wrong mask showing in your profile..it shows N10 Nasal mask

Pain is often related to wearing a mask too tight, or wearing the wrong size.
Trying a larger size pillow can prevent the part from riding up into a nostril and dilating it.

Thx all, I've updated my equipment.
It's not pain from the mask or pillow, that's most comfortable.
It's internal, my nose is like dry irritable and just feels crap.
I just think it's too much for my nose to handle to breath "only " through it the whole night, not to mention the machine forcing air through it.
I'm trying to persevere and soldier through this but barely making 4 hours a night.

Get some Ayr nasal gel and put it in your nose at the beginning of the night...help reduce the dry irritated feeling.
Use something like Simply Saline nasal spray liberally during the day and again at bedtime along with the Ayr gel.
Try a size larger in the nasal pillow if you can.

My nose got very irritated when I started the P10, and I took the common advice here and got some Lansinoh lanolin, and put a tiny bit on my nose... it really helped, and after a couple weeks, I didn't need it anymore. I keep the tube around for times when I get a cold, and raw nose from blowing it too often.

What are your humidity/heat settings? Are they high enough?

Here is something else that can cause nose irritation. If the hair inside the nose is too long, it can feel very itchy That can surely disturb sleep too.

So it's not: Surface pressure from the mask on the face, Rubbing, Leaking...
It is: Too much direct air into the nostrils drying out and cracking the inside of your nasal passages.
Is there any reason why you wouldn't consider a full-face mask?
