If you got a different diameter hose than what the machine is set for it could very definitely be affecting the pressure.
There's a setting in that menu for hose diameter and you have to set it for any non heated hose.

When you use a heated hose the machine will sense it and make necessary selection for diameter.
All other hoses you need to verify hose diameter and the setting.
If your machine is set for slimline hose...that's 15 mm but if your hose is 19 or 22 mm...it can affect the way the machine does things.
I am unsure if what my previous one was, but it was an all clear tube. This tube looks like it might be one of the "insulated" ones. It's more gray in color and is definitely not the same one. Is there a way to change the setting to the new hose?
Disregard that last post. I checked the machine and it has indeed updated to "Slimline" on that specific setting. Now I'm even more baffled.

Without seeing the detailed data from the graphs available using the software it's really hard to say what is going on during that 1 hour segmented session with the high AHI.
May you had a lot of SWJ because you were in an out of sleep during that last hour or something.
Happens a lot.
The machine doesn't have any way to know if you are asleep or not. All it measures is air flow and sometimes our awake breathing is so irregular it causes the machine to flag stuff that isn't real.

Thought maybe I had figured out the problem because of the new hose, but the machine has apparently already accounted for it. I do feel as though the pressure has changed though, but I don't really have a way of knowing. I'm just concerned, and I don't really know what to do to fix this issue. I only really seemed to notice it after I received my new equipment, but nothing is different. I'm concerned this issue is going to cause health issues.

I am able to pull a "report" of sorts from my "myAir" app that I use in conjunction with the machine. Would that be of any help?

MyAir doesn't do graphs to see what is happening hour by hour. All MyAir gives is an overall number. No real details.

Here's an example of some of what you can see with SleepyHead. You can't get this with MyAir. With MyAir all you get is the summary numbers.

One other thought...what position were you in during that high AHI hour...on your back maybe? Maybe you were on your back and needed more pressure just for that period of time. It's quite common for pressure needs to change with supine sleeping vs side sleeping...also common to need more pressure in REM stage sleep. You might have been in REM that last hour...we have our highest amount of REM right at the end of a sleep night.

Looks like I will need to go buy a card and come back with some results in the next few days. Is there a certain size card recommended?

I toss and turn a bit in my sleep but I am unsure. Regardless, my sleeping has not changed in any way so for this to suddenly be an issue is a bit alarming to me. I've slept all sorts of wacky ways before and nothing ever made the numbers shoot up this high.

I appreciate all the help and insight. I'm going to grab an SD card ASAP and post some charts in a few days. I assume I'll still be able to post in this same thread and not have to create a new one.

Any generic SD card will work. 2 GB is plenty but will be hard to find that small.
I am using an 8 GB Sandisk SD card I got a Walmart a couple of years ago. Around $8 I think it was.
It hurts nothing to use a bigger capacity card. If you have a digital camera with regular SD card in it...that might even work if you erase the card.
The machine probably won't like other files being on the card.

The card MUST be in the machine all night to get the detailed files written to it.
The machine only stores the summary numbers.

And yes...keep things in one thread for right now anyway. That way we can easily see what has already been said and what your problem was and we don't have to repeat ourselves.

Thank you. There is nothing in the settings that I need to do once the card is in, is there?

Nope...nothing in the settings anywhere that does anything to the SD card being in the slot or not.
Won't affect transmission to MyAir either.

please do all and sundry the favor of posting charts or further questions here, in this thread. even if you think your next question has nothing to do with the thread title. it makes it so much easier for the experts here to keep track of you.

i don't mean to infer that you have to stay in this thread for the rest of your life, but at least for the first few weeks or so.

it would be much appreciated!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
